No Stairs Please is a live music venue booking directory and tour routing tool built for gigging musicians who book their own paid shows. It covers small and mid-size stages across all 50 US states, the District of Columbia, and British Columbia. Booking your own tour is hard when you do not know who to reach. General email inboxes and private rental forms lead to dead ends. No Stairs Please solves this by keeping direct booking contacts separate from general business contacts. Each room listing includes key details musicians need before sending an outreach email: * The direct talent buyer or booking contact email. * The nights each venue typically hosts live music. * Advance booking lead times and booking windows. * Room capacity, stage size, and sound gear details. * Past show history and typical musical styles. The platform also includes driving route planning. You can enter two tour stops and view all the small clubs, listening rooms, bars, and breweries with live music along your drive between towns. This makes it easy to fill open dates without zig-zagging across a region. Musicians who use AI tools or assistants can also connect No Stairs Please directly to Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini. The platform runs a remote Streamable HTTP Model Context Protocol (MCP) server at nostairsplease.com/mcp with OAuth 2.1 authentication. This lets your AI assistant search venues by city, check room capacities, and draft regional tour schedules using real stage data. No Stairs Please offers a free tier to browse stages and get started with no credit card required. Full directory access is available through one-time passes for one month or one year. Jared Smith built No Stairs Please to give independent working bands and solo acts the practical information they need to get on stage and get paid.
