IcyZip

I built IcyZip to move text, links and code between two devices without signing up. Open icyzip.com on both devices and pair the two browser tabs with a QR code or pairing link. Changes in the live text field appear on the other device. You can also send one selected file at a time, up to 25 MiB. Both tabs must stay open and online. Text and file contents are encrypted in the browsers before a server relays ciphertext. The service can still see connection metadata and file-offer metadata such as filename, size and type. An optional verification code lets you compare the two devices. IcyZip is free to use and will remain free. It is a browser handoff tool, not cloud storage, automatic clipboard synchronization or offline/LAN-only sharing. The hosted application and relay are proprietary; the isolated encryption component, protocol tests and review lab are open source under Apache-2.0 at https://icyzip.com/open-source.
